Floor Specialist

Location: New Orleans, LA

Summary

The Custodial Worker performs the daily work of cleaning facilities, grounds, and equipment for various buildings on the Downtown Campus. This position has responsibility for the detailed cleaning of offices, classrooms and public rest rooms. Perform all cleaning functions in relation to floor care (stripping, finishing, burnishing, scrubbing, carpet shampooing, bonnet cleaning etc.). Duties also include daily scripted work and periodic maintenance assignments from the Assistant Supervisor Facilities Services.

Position is located in a non-smoking work area.

Required Qualifications

• No prior experience or training required.

Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous custodial experience preferred
• Computer literacy
