The Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center (DLIFLC), located on the Presidio of Monterey in Monterey, CA, offers intensive foreign language instruction in 14 languages and dialects. DLIFLC provides high-quality, culturally based foreign language training to enhance the national security of the United States. Courses are taught 6 hours per day, 5 days a week except for federal holidays. As an accredited institution, it awards Associates of Arts and Bachelor’s degrees to qualified graduates.

Salary: $74,506 - $92,646 per year
Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship is not required, although candidates must have work authorization for the U.S. Candidates wishing to use Optional Practical Training (OPT) work authorization may be considered. DLIFLC may be able to support candidates with an H1-B visa under certain circumstances.
In addition to offering a competitive salary with locality pay, as a Department of Defense organization, employees receive:
