Required Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.

Required Related Experience: Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and organizational abilities. Ability to maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Shift: Weekdays between 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.

Job Summary: Assist in recording and reconciling grant income and expenditures in the accounting system. Support the preparation of financial reports for funders and internal stakeholders. Support the creation of 2026 Budgets. Help monitor budget-to-actuals for specific grants and programs. Assist with month-end close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations. Review and organize receipts, invoices, and financial documentation. Help ensure compliance with nonprofit accounting standards and grant agreements. Participate in special projects and audits as needed. Help review and revise accounting policies and procedures.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities: Basic understanding of accounting principles, proficient in Microsoft excel, strong attention to detail.

Preferred Education/Experience: Coursework or experience related to nonprofit or governmental accounting. Familiarity with grant compliance requirements (e.g., OMB Uniform Guidance). Accounting, Finance, Business, or any related majors preferred.
