The International Engagement Portfolio plays a central role in advancing this vision, responsible for marketing the University and its programs at an international level, overseeing the recruitment and admission of international students, and establishing and managing international partnerships. International Engagement provides a wide range of engagement services to ensure a coordinated and strategic approach across the University in relation to international education opportunities. The team is recognised as the driving force behind building UniSQ’s profile and performance in the international space, ensuring that our reputation as a welcoming, innovative, and high-quality institution continues to grow.
As a Global Relations Officer, you’ll be at the heart of UniSQ’s international engagement, helping students explore the world and welcoming global partners to ours. From coordinating study tours to preparing high-profile visits, every day brings something different.

What you'll do
In the first 6-12 months, you will deliver seamless, high-quality global programs, building strong relationships with students and stakeholders along the way to contribute towards growing participation and engagement in international opportunities at UniSQ.
Student Mobility
- Guide students through global exchange and study opportunities
- Manage applications, documentation, and communications
- Help promote life-changing global experiences
Study Tours & Programs
- Coordinate logistics for inbound and outbound programs
- Support program delivery (think schedules, events, and on-the-ground coordination)
- Help create memorable experiences for visiting students
International Delegations
- Organise and host international visits and official delegations
- Prepare briefings, schedules, and visitor experiences
- Showcase UniSQ through tours, events, and professional hosting
What will help you succeed
To thrive in this position, you will require a Diploma (or equivalent experience) with a strong customer service focus as well as:
- Proven ability to work with diverse groups and build positive relationships
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage competing priorities to deliver high quality outcomes
- Confidence navigating systems and processes (CRM or student systems experience is a bonus!)

Salary: Total remuneration range $94,129 to $106,754 pa (includes salary range of $79,383 to $90,031 pa, employer super contributions of 17% and annual leave loading)
