Golf Course Greenskeeper

General Requirements: Less than a high school diploma with the ability to read and write. At least six months experience as a Greenskeeper or its equivalent. A combination of education, experience, and training that would produce the required knowledge and abilities could be considered.

Nature & Purpose of Position/Usual Duties: Responsible for the construction, repair, and daily maintenance of Bearkat Course.

Primary Responsibilities (Staff Positions Only):

• operating light equipment including, but not limited to, trucks, tractors, loaders, mowers, and weed-eaters.
• Utilizing hand and power tools including, but not limited to, hammers, shovels, rakes, brooms, and drills.
• Bringing to and removing materials from work locations.
• Maintains landscape drainage.
• Mows, weed eats, and trims all green space areas.
• Seeds, fertilizes, and aerates grounds.
• Maintaining overall cleanliness of golf course and surrounding areas.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
