The opportunity
Southern New Hampshire University is seeking faculty to teach in our Information Technology program. Our online faculty provide high-quality academic experiences and support students as they work toward their educational goals. Online faculty members work collaboratively in a supportive academic environment, partnering with student advising and the academic team to ensure that each student has support and tools you need to be successful.
Essential duties and responsibilities of this position include the following:
- Provide a high level of student outreach and connect with students, academic advisors and team leads on a frequent basis to ensure student success
- Be engaging, offering an increased and innovative presence in the classroom
- Provide substantial student feedback and offer a quick turnaround on grades
Seeking experienced instructors for the following courses:
- CYB-220- Network Security
- CYB-230- Operating System Security
- CYB-300 - System and Communication Security
- CYB-310- Network Defense
What we're Looking For:
- Master's Degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Information Assurance, or related field from an accredited higher education institution
- 3 or more years industry experience in IT
- Teaching experience at the college level
- Active CAP, CASP CE, CCISO, CCSP, CEH, CISSP, CND, CNDA, GCIA, SCYBER, CISM, and/or GSLC certifications combined with the follow active continuous education (CE) certifications: Linux+ CE, MCSA, MCSE, RHCA, RHCE, Server+ CE, SSCP, Network+ CE, CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE. Good-For-Life (GFL) certifications are not accepted at this time.
Compensation:
The standard compensation for most courses is $2,200 per 8-week undergraduate course, and $2,500 per 10-week graduate course. Undergraduate and graduate adjuncts are paid bi-weekly and are considered W-2 employees of Southern NH University.
