Position Title: Graduate Enrollment Counselor
Position Location: Wingate Main Campus
Position Summary: The graduate enrollment counselor will assist the graduate enrollment team in their efforts to meet enrollment goals. The primary role of this position is to provide support in the areas of recruitment of prospective graduate students including participation in internal and external recruiting events, expansion and maintenance of lead generation and nurturing strategies, push-to-apply campaigns and related graduate enrollment communication campaigns, graduate enrollment data maintenance, graduate admission processing for select programs, and strategic deposit melt prevention.
This position reports to the Director of Graduate Enrollment Communication and is a full-time on campus role.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Serve as liaison between prospective students, faculty, staff, and current students
- Process applications for select graduate programs
- Ensure data integrity and maintain graduate admission and enrollment records in Salesforce
- Support creation and implementation of a graduate campus visit and tour structure; Establish and manage a consistent calendar of graduate recruiting events (internal and external), including promotion, registration, follow-up, and data collection
- Collaborate with institutional partners and expand presence at local, regional, and national recruiting fairs and events
- Assist in developing post-deposit structures, communications, and engagement strategies to support graduate deposit-to-enrollment success
- Serve as a primary liaison for deposited students, connecting them with essential campus services (Financial Aid, Business Office, IT, etc.)
- Contribute to graduate enrollment communications, affinity-building initiatives, and institutional engagement strategies
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support Graduate Enrollment Management initiatives
Qualities, Knowledge, and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Experience with graduate and adult recruitment preferred
- Experience with CRMs, specifically Salesforce, preferred
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Passion for, both collaboratively and independently, fostering authentic relationships with prospective students and their influencers in a way that accurately represents Wingate University
