  • Design and teach courses in mental health counseling, including counseling theories, career counseling, clinical interventions, and group counseling
  • Collaborate with university administrators, faculty, and staff to ensure program quality, accreditation readiness, and adherence to best practices in mental health counseling training
  • Maintain engagement in clinical practice
  • Participate actively in departmental and university service

Job Requirements:

We seek an applicant with a Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical or Counseling Psychology, Counseling Education, or related discipline, who will lead the development and launch of a new M.A. program in Mental Health Counseling within the Department. The candidate must be licensed or license-eligible as a mental health counselor or psychologist in Massachusetts, with a minimum of three years' experience. The ideal candidate will have experience in curriculum development, program accreditation and assessment, experience in counseling practice, faculty recruitment, and experience in teaching and mentoring, preferably with graduate students.

Additional Information:

Expected Hiring Range: $85,000 - $95,000
