The BCC Housing Development Corporation, managed by the Faculty-Student Association of BCC, is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) company that provides on-campus apartment-style living to SUNY Broome students at the Student Village. Job Description:

The Faculty-Student Association of Broome Community College, Inc. (F-SA) is seeking a part-time Graduate Residence Director (GRD) to join our team. As a live-in staff member, the GRD will support our student staff (e.g., Resident Assistants) and help further our vision to challenge and support our students' holistic development. This position offers direct experience in residential life operations, student support, and developing supervision and advising skills within a community college setting. Candidates should either be accepted into a graduate program for the upcoming academic year or be a recent bachelor's degree graduate seeking to gain experience in housing and residential life, with an interest in pursuing graduate studies.

General Responsibilities:

The Graduate Residence Director (GRD) works with the Assistant Director and Resident Assistants to assist students in building a living-learning environment that contributes to their intellectual, interpersonal, and physical development as part of the Housing & Residential Life program at SUNY Broome Community College, consistent with the College's mission, vision and goals. As a member of the Residential Life team, the GRD assists with coordinating Student Village annual events.

Requirements:

The GRD must reside in a furnished apartment in the Student Village at no cost to the GRD.
