Grant & Project Manager, Special Projects - NASF
Provide management, leadership and grants focused project direction for the Workforce & Continuing Education Leadership within the Engineering & Advanced Technology division, in collaboration with staff, faculty and other administrators consistent with College policies and procedures.
- Manage assigned grant opportunity, in collaboration with the Grant Office. Evaluate and recommend appropriate courses of action based on alignment with project, department and institutional initiatives.
- Analyze data, define issues, prepare project reports, and keep Assistant Director apprised of project status, using appropriate and effective communications tools.
- Summarize data and prepare reports to assist in decision-making processes.
- Ensure grant records are maintained in compliance with the grantor in support of the projects.
- Recommend and implement procedures to monitor processes, tasks, costs, schedules, deliverables, and activities in relation to project requirements.
- Develop proactive procedures and generate creative solutions to mitigate risks to project success and to enhance quality and timely deliverables.
- Manages project deliverables, ensuring performance milestones, timelines, and compliance standards are consistently met.
- Represents the College, the division and the M-TEC to the community, employers, governmental entities and other audiences as appropriate.
- Assists administrative leadership to develop plans and procedures to operate the assigned project in a cost-effective entrepreneurial way while maintaining customer satisfaction.
- Monitors and maintains compliance with College policies, procedures and master agreements as well as applicable state, federal, or other agency accreditation, licensure, registration and/or certification requirements for assigned project.
- Maintains accurate project information management systems and prepares departmental reports, enrollment reports, project reports, and others as appropriate or required.
- Participates in various College committees.
- Writes and administers grant as appropriate.
- Represents administrative leadership as assigned.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree required.
