Head of Communications

Pembroke College is looking to appoint a Head of Communications to lead its newly established Communications Office.

You will develop a dynamic communications strategy that transmits Pembroke’s values and mission, and oversee its delivery to ensure its message of excellence and ambition in teaching, learning and research is shared within and outside Pembroke.

The Head of Communications will:

• Craft and deliver a coherent communications strategy
• Guide our branding, web, social media and publications output
• Build stakeholder relations and media networks
• Support senior leadership in reputation and crisis management

An collaborative communicator with experience in developing and implementing strategic communications—including digital media and storytelling—with demonstrable results, exceptional interpersonal and project-management skills, and a calm approach in challenging situations.

We are looking for an experienced, strategic communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, creativity, and the ability to build strong, collaborative relationships across diverse audiences.

36.5 hours per week

Salary £54,893
