Neurodiversity Mental Health Advisor
Loughborough University is seeking two new Neurodiversity Mental Health Advisors to join the Mental Wellbeing Team. These roles involve assessing, organizing, coordinating, monitoring, and tracking support for students with neurodiverse conditions and co-occurring mental health difficulties, in line with DSA recommendations.
Key responsibilities include ensuring appropriate recommendations for reasonable adjustments under the Equality Act (2010), assessing and responding to student risk issues such as suicide and self-harm, and providing specialist professional support. The roles report to the Neurodiversity Mental Health Practice Lead and involve liaising with University staff and external agencies.
Salary: £35,116 to £45,413 per annum or pro rata for the part-time post. Positions available: 1 x 1 FTE full-time, open-ended; 1 x 0.69 FTE for 36 weeks per year.
Location: Loughborough University, Loughborough, Hybrid. Hours: Full Time or Part Time. Contract: Permanent or Fixed-Term/Contract.
