Health Sciences Clinical Instructors/Fellows - Anesthesiology & Perioperative Care
The Department of Anesthesiology & Perioperative Care at the University of California, Irvine School of Medicine, is offering this academic appointment as Health Sciences Clinical Instructor/Fellow in conjunction with our non-ACGME Fellowship programs.
Minimum qualifications required to be considered for the Fellowship programs:
- Candidates must possess an M.D. or D.O., or equivalent degree.
- Candidate must complete an ACGME accredited Anesthesia residency program prior to start date of Fellowship program.
- Candidate must obtain a California medical license and DEA prior to start date of Fellowship program.
- Candidate must be board-certified or board-eligible for certification in Anesthesiology.
These Fellowship programs are designed to provide extensive clinical training as well as opportunities for teaching and research in patient safety, quality improvement, quality monitoring, quality reporting and metrics through innovative rotations that can include: Leadership in Perioperative Medicine, Medical Education Simulation, Obstetric Anesthesiology, and Regional Anesthesiology and Acute Pain Medicine.

- Leadership in Perioperative Medicine
- Medical Education Simulation
- Obstetric Anesthesiology
