Hourly Pooled - Research Assistant, Plant Sciences (Dr. Jabbour)
Job Title: Research Assistant
Job Purpose: Research support in the insect agroecology lab supervised by Dr. Randa Jabbour in Department of Plant Sciences. This includes general research support in the area of biological pest control and lab management tasks.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Specific tasks may include insect sampling sorting and identification, insect pinning and collection curation, literature search and summary, social science research on farmer decision making, data entry and organization, lab cleaning and safety, paperwork sorting and organization, furniture assembly and moving.
Competencies:
Ability to work independently, excellent communication and organization skills, accountability and dependability.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Interest in insects and agroecology.
- Valid driver's license with a motor vehicle record (MVR) compliant with the University Vehicle Use Policy.

Work Location:
