As a Human Resources Business Partner, you will partner with senior leaders to align divisional people plans with the University’s strategic priorities. You will lead complex case management, ER and IR matters, and embed OD-focused, best practice HR solutions. Your expertise will help shape a supportive and dynamic environment, fostering growth and development at every level. What you will deliver:
- Partner with divisional leaders to translate University wide people strategies into tailored workforce, succession and development plans.
- Lead complex case management, including performance concerns, complaints, investigations, and workplace behaviour issues, to timely resolution.
- Provide expert advice on ER, IR, enterprise agreements and awards, ensuring compliant, consistent and transparent decision-making.
- Facilitate divisional workforce planning and talent discussions, informing organisational design, capability development and succession strategies.
- Broker support from HR Centres of Excellence and HR Services to deliver integrated, high-quality HR solutions.
- Bring at least five years’ HR business partnering experience in large, complex, matrixed organisations.
- Demonstrate advanced case management expertise across performance, conduct, complaints, investigations and sensitive employee relations matters.
- Apply strong ER and IR knowledge, including enterprise agreement and award interpretation, within a unionised environment.
- Integrate organisational development thinking into HR solutions, including change, capability building and leadership development initiatives.
- Influence and advise senior stakeholders with credibility, using data, insight and sound judgement to shape outcomes.
- Collaborate effectively with Centres of Excellence and shared services to provide a seamless, client-focused HR experience.

The Chief People Officer (CPO) Portfolio leads the delivery of our People Strategies and priorities enabling quality outcomes for students, staff and partners by delivering University-wide services and operational support to meet the organisation's evolving needs and strategic goals.
