Human Resources Business Partner
Position Summary
This vacancy is for one or more positions. All applicants will be considered for any available openings. The Office of Human Resources and Engagement within the Eshelman School of Pharmacy at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill supports a robust academic and research community through human resources guidance and workforce support. These positions serve assigned areas within the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy as Human Resources (HR) Business Partners, providing consultation, guidance, and support across a broad portfolio of human resources functions.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
Required Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience
Bachelor’s degree and at least one year of professional work experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience. Demonstrated experience in influencing and negotiating outcomes with managers and stakeholders. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel. Strong time-management, organizational, and prioritization skills. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of audiences. Sound analytical judgment. Consistent accuracy, attention to detail, and discretion in the handling of sensitive and confidential information.
