HUMAN RESOURCES PARTNER GENERALIST

This position will support the Division of Clinical Immunology Rheumatology in the Department of Medicine.
General Responsibilities
- To function as the Human Resource Partner (HRP) contact for a college, school, or large department of the University in coordination with the Office of Human Resources.
- To independently manage human resources services to employees within a large, complex division(s), department(s), college or school.
- To select applicants during the employment process.
- To administer human resource policies and serve as front-line advisor to department administrators regarding human resource issues.
- May act as a liaison between the assigned department and the Office of Human Resources for all academic and nonacademic human resource related matters.
- To ensure departmental compliance with University human resource policies and procedures.
- Manages faculty and staff recruitment and acts as faculty relations liaison.
- May supervise administrative staff and manage hr related projects
Key Roles & Responsibilities

- Manages human resources services for employees within a large, complex division, department, college, or school.
- Administers HR policies and serves as a front-line advisor to department administrators on HR-related issues.
- Acts as a liaison between the assigned department and the Office of Human Resources for both academic and non-academic HR matters.
- Ensures departmental compliance with university HR policies and procedures.
- Manages faculty and staff recruitment and serves as a faculty relations liaison; may supervise administrative staff and oversee HR-related projects.
- Oversees processing of employment and compensation changes, including: New positions, Position Request Forms, Reclassification requests, Internal job postings, Performance appraisals, Salary increases and Turnaround Documents
- Maintains departmental HR files and documentation; forwards necessary records to the Office of Human Resource Management for official personnel files.
- Responds to inquiries from administrators, managers, and supervisors regarding HR procedures; ensures consistent application of policies and advises on appropriate resolutions.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Preferred:
Experience in Human Resources.
Salary Range
$47,665 - $77,455
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in a related field and three (3) years of related experience required.
- Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement.
