Industrial & Systems Engineering tenure-track faculty positions Junior Ranks
We seek candidates with expertise in machine learning, AI-driven decision-making, data-driven optimization, complex systems modeling and intelligent systems in advanced manufacturing, energy and infrastructure, security and resilience and pharmaceutical manufacturing. The candidate is expected to develop and sustain a strong and externally funded research program, teach and mentor undergraduate and graduate students, promoting excellence and innovation in learning, contribute to curriculum development in data science, AI, and computational modeling in ISE related topics, engage in collaborative, interdisciplinary research across Rutgers and with external partners and actively participate in departmental, school, and professional service.
Qualifications Qualifications include a Ph.D. in Industrial and Systems Engineering, Operations Research, or a closely related discipline, completed by the time of appointment and demonstrated excellence in research, potential for or record of external funding, and a strong commitment to teaching and student success.
