Institutional Research Analyst
This position entails supporting externally funded research projects for Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) communities throughout the research lifecycle, under the supervision of the Principal Investigator, research project manager, and research team. The primary responsibilities of the research analyst (bilingual in an AANHPI language is required) include conducting research, gathering and analyzing complex data, synthesizing issues, and presenting them in a creative and accessible manner. The analyst will also solicit and incorporate critical feedback on deliverables and provide such feedback to other staff and stakeholders in a cooperative manner.
In addition, the analyst supports the development and implementation of community outreach presentations at various Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander community partner organizations. This includes collaborating with team members to create materials such as presentations, outreach materials, and generating data findings for both internal and external dissemination. The analyst also assists in the maintenance of research-related databases and the management of research data associated with these projects. To ensure the success of all projects and deliverables, the analyst must document their processes and methodologies, validate data and other content of work products prior to presentation or distribution, and engage in professional development and other duties as needed.
The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.
