Institutional Research and Compliance Administrator - Management Analyst 2
Job Summary
The Institutional Research and Compliance Administrator will play a pivotal role in supporting the institution's decision-making processes through the effective administration of Gray Decision Intelligence and EAB systems. This position will lead compliance efforts, conduct data analysis, and manage survey administration. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills in SQL and PowerBI, along with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to data integrity.

Salary Range
The salary range for this position is $25.29 to $36.71 hourly.
Minimum Qualifications
At least three (3) years experience in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Institutional Research, Public Administration, or a related discipline. Demonstrated experience with SQL and Power BI for data querying, visualization, and reporting. Familiarity with institutional, state, and federal compliance requirements, like IPEDS and Higher Learning Commission standards. Experience designing, distributing, and analyzing surveys using tools like CCSSE, Noel Levitz SSI, or similar. Demonstrated experience working within Academic or Student Affairs, with an understanding of how data supports student success, program development, and institutional effectiveness. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets. Strong written and verbal communication skills to collaborate across departments and present data insights clearly.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in Institutional Research, Higher Education Administration, Data Science, or a related field. Prior administrative experience with Gray DI, EAB, and Watermark to support institutional effectiveness and planning. Advanced knowledge of SQL for database management and querying. Prior work in a college or university setting, particularly in institutional research or compliance roles. Active membership in organizations such as AIRUM, AIR, ASHE, or SCUP. Experience leading cross-functional projects involving data systems, compliance, or accreditation. Demonstrated commitment to professional development and staying current on trends in higher education compliance and analytics.
