Posting Description
INSTRUCTIONAL DESIGNER II, Scheller Teacher Education Program, to support an international education initiative focused AI education, inclusive pedagogy and accessibility; leading Universal Design for Learning (UDL) integration into K-12 curriculum and teacher professional development; lead development of UDL-focused sessions for training K12 teacher trainers; coordinate in-person international teacher professional development workshops including identifying and supporting presenters, and establishing the full schedule of events; coordinate in-person and online training; build educators’ understanding of differentiated instruction and inclusive practices; supervise and collaborate with a Special Education Needs (SEN) consultant the adaptation of curriculum modules to exemplify best practices regarding UDL; ensure adapted modules model inclusive instruction for diverse learning needs; provide guidance, materials, and strategies to help educators understand and implement UDL in classroom settings; and provide expert feedback on training implementation and make recommendations for improvement; support science curriculum development.
Job Requirements
REQUIRED: Advanced degree in Education, Special Education, Curriculum Design, or a related field; demonstrated expertise and practical experience with Universal Design for Learning (UDL); experience organizing and leading large professional development workshops; familiarity with inclusive education practices, especially in diverse or international contexts; excellent communication, collaboration, and facilitation skills; disciplinary science knowledge to support science curriculum development. PREFERRED: International education experience; experience designing or delivering online learning content; experience with a train-the-trainer model; and experience working with or supervising Special Education Needs (SEN) initiatives.
International travel is required. This is a one-year temporary position with possibility of renewal. This position is hybrid.
