Teaching location and hours are subject to change during employment with WCJC to meet department/division needs to ensure student success. Pay for this position is based on a 9 month contract. (Masters: $49,550 - $54,550; Doctorate: $56,050-61,050)
The permanent responsibility of a faculty member is to provide the most effective instruction possible in his/her discipline. Supervision is received from appropriate supervisor. The faculty member works to insure that his/her instruction is meeting the educational needs of students.
Requirements
This position requires a minimum of master's degree (in Math or other discipline) and a minimum of 18 graduate hours in Math from a regionally accredited institution. This position is required to meet minimum requirements for teaching at the post-secondary level set by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board, and accrediting agencies for individual programs if applicable. A criminal background check is required.
