Job Description
The College of Health Sciences (CHS) – Department of Clinical and Diagnostic Sciences (CDS) – Radiography Program at the University of Missouri (MU), invites applications for a full time Clinical Coordinator and faculty position of Instructor or Assistant/Associate/Full Teaching Professor. Faculty position offered will be commensurate with candidate’s credentials and experience.
About the Department/Program
The Radiography program is an accredited, entry-level program with full enrollment. The program operates with two on site faculty positions and delivers integrated didactic, laboratory, and clinical education. Faculty maintain active clinical partnerships and provide direct oversight to ensure educational quality and accreditation compliance.
Position Overview
This is a full-time, on-site Clinical Coordinator faculty position with substantial instructional and clinical education responsibilities. The position is essential to maintaining program operations, supporting student progression, and ensuring required faculty presence across classroom, laboratory, and clinical environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide on-site clinical supervision and visitation at affiliated clinical sites
- Coordinate and support clinical education experiences
- Teach Radiography courses
- Advise and mentor Radiography students
- Participate in admissions, assessment, curriculum review, and accreditation activities
- Engage in departmental, college, and professional service
Qualifications
The minimum qualifications for this position are:
- Earned bachelor’s degree or higher in Radiography or a closely related field before applying
- Current ARRT certification in Radiography
Candidates will be evaluated on:
- Documented clinical experience in radiography or advanced imaging
- Willingness to pursue a master’s degree preferred
- Involvement in clinical education coordination or supervision
- Experience teaching laboratory-based or clinical Radiography courses
- Experience working within a JRCERT-accredited program
- Evidence of effective student advising and mentoring
- Engagement in program service, assessment, or curriculum development
Anticipated Hiring Range
Salary will be commensurate with the qualifications and experience of the applicant.
