The Department of Civil, Construction and Environmental Engineering is seeking a part-time Instructor for architectural, civil, construction and environmental engineering undergraduate and graduate courses, particularly in subject areas of civil and construction engineering materials. Candidates should be comfortable with online course management systems, materials laboratory operations, and laboratory safety principles and practices.

Detailed Position Information

The Department of Civil, Construction and Environmental Engineering (CCEE) is seeking a part-time Instructor for architectural, civil, construction and environmental engineering undergraduate and graduate courses, particularly in subject areas of civil and construction engineering materials. Candidates should be comfortable with online course management systems, materials laboratory operations, and laboratory safety principles and practices.

The CCEE department offers ABET/EAC accredited B.S. degrees in Architectural Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, and Environmental Engineering. The department offers six minors in the areas of Architectural, Civil, Construction, Environmental and Water Resources, Transportation, and Structural Engineering. The undergraduate programs have a sustained enrollment of nearly 800 students. At the graduate level, the CCEE department also has active MS and PhD programs in Civil Engineering and MS program in Environmental Engineering, with a total sustained graduate enrollment of nearly 120 students.

Minimum Qualifications

PhD in Civil Engineering; experience teaching or serving as graduate teaching assistant in the area of civil and construction engineering materials; certification as an Engineer Intern (EI).
