Interim Foundation Executive Director and Chief Development Officer

Leadership

1. Reporting to and at the direction of the Chancellor, works in partnership with the Chancellor, Chancellor's Cabinet, executive management, and board leadership to develop and execute a comprehensive strategic plan to expand philanthropic support and to advance the culture of philanthropy for the District
2. Develops and directs a comprehensive fundraising program for the colleges, including the cultivation and stewardship of individual donors and a comprehensive strategy for corporate and foundation donors

Fiscal Management

1. Provide fiscal management of the Foundation's assets and disbursements and work to develop strategic funding programs, including the development of unrestricted programs

Donor Cultivation

1. In consultation with the Chancellor and the campus Presidents, oversee all alumni initiatives including database development, quarterly e-newsletter publication, and Alumni Council recruitment

Management of Foundation Staff

1. Hire, supervise, direct, and regularly evaluate the performance of the Foundation's staff in accordance with District policy; serve as a mentor to further develop Foundation staff's career goals, and holds staff accountable
