Job Description Summary
Working under the direction of and in collaboration with the Director of Capital and Small Projects, the Interiors Project Coordinator is responsible for overseeing projects related to existing interior spaces within Wharton buildings. This role jointly manages Wharton's furniture program, maintains inventory of existing furniture, oversees finish selections for small projects and the interior finishes catalog, and coordinates on-site design services and construction. The position liaises with external professionals engaged in small projects and helps oversee project activities, while supporting the Director of Capital and Small Projects on major capital projects as needed. Strong organizational skills, clear communication, and a high degree of initiative are essential for success in this role.
Job Description
Bachelor's degree and 3 to 5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. BFA/BA/BIA/BS in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or equivalent combination of education and work experience may be acceptable. At least three years of progressive experience that includes furniture planning, interior finish selection, and project coordination. The Interiors Project Coordinator must have some understanding of the International Building Code, strong analytic, problem-solving, negotiating and organizational skills as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills. NCIDQ license or in the process of working towards licensor is a plus.

Pay Range
$64,500.00 - $73,000.00 Annual Rate Salary offers are made based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and education as they directly relate to the requirements of the position, and in alignment with salary ranges based on external market data for the job's level.
