About The Team
Join our dynamic International Relations and Programs team within our International Office at Murdoch University and play a vital role in the experience of international students at Murdoch University and the overall administration of key international programs, relations and partnerships.
As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to contribute significantly to building the University's brand and profile by developing global networks with students, agents, institutions, industry, and government departments (Australia and overseas).
Your New Role!
As the International Relations and Programs Officer at Murdoch University, you will have experience in one or many of the broad and diverse international programs under the International Relations and Programs portfolio. You will administer, support, facilitate and contribute towards international student’s growth and journey at Murdoch University through programs including, but not limited to, Study Abroad and Exchange (inbound, outbound and short term), Sponsorship programs (E.g. Australia Awards and other government sponsorship programs), International under 18 years welfare monitoring, and International Loan Programs (E.g. US financial loans) and funded outbound mobility (E.g NCP mobility and scholarship programs).
Your key duties:
Coordination of pre-departure, arrival, and on-campus and departure activities to students participating in Study Abroad, Student Exchange, international under-18 years and sponsored student programs.
Provide ongoing administrative support and pastoral care to international under-18 years students, sponsored students and those participating in Study Abroad and Student Exchange programs.
Provide ongoing administrative support to Murdoch students going abroad on Government-funded or Exchange programs.
Provide ongoing administrative support to the development and implementation of Government-funded outbound NCP mobility and scholarship programs.
Support the development of productive and professional relationships with Partner institutions and Government funding bodies.

This Continuous| Full Time (37.5 hours per week) attracts a remuneration of $91K – $98K (pro rata) plus 17% employer superannuation contributions.

Selection Criteria:
A degree with subsequent work experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
Understanding of principles associated with promoting international programs.
Knowledge and understanding of relevant policies, procedures and relevant industry and regulatory knowledge for international student cohorts.
Computer literacy and proficiency in the production of high-level work. Sound knowledge of the suite of Microsoft Office applications.
Organisational, time and workload management skills.
