IT Construction Project Manager
Definition
The Technology Department is seeking a talented individual to fill the position of IT Construction Project Manager. The successful candidate will act as Project Manager for IT construction on district Facilities and Bond projects. This includes the coordination requirements related to the district’s physical security projects that fall under the Facilities, Technology and Public Safety departments.
Under the direction of the IT Director of Cybersecurity & Infrastructure or the Vice Chancellor, Information & Educational Technology, perform project management with district-wide Facilities & Public Safety Construction projects with a Technology component.
Assignment
100% of full time, 37.5 hours per week, 12 months per year, with anticipated start date of July 2026. Work Location: District Information Systems (IS) department, located on the campus of West Valley College, Saratoga, CA or the IS department located on the Mission College campus.
Salary and Benefits
Anticipated Hiring Range: $17,857.33 - $18,582.83 monthly (2026-2027 WVMCEA Salary Schedule, Principal IT Architect Classification, Range 98, Steps A-C).
Minimum Qualifications
Four years of responsible advanced journey experience similar to Senior Information Technology Analyst with the West Valley-Mission Community College District. Equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in information technology or a related field. Understanding of, and sensitivity to the diverse academic, socio-economic, ethnic, religious and cultural backgrounds, disability, and sexual orientation of community college students, faculty and staff.
