Basic Function

The Kinesiology Department at Porterville College is seeking a faculty member for a Full-time, Tenure Track, Kinesiology Instructor and Head Coach for the Porterville College location. Representative Duties

Porterville College is seeking a Kinesiology instructor and Head Coach who can provide instruction in Kinesiology courses and lead one of the following sporting areas:

• Men's Baseball
• Men's Basketball
• Women's Basketball
• Men's and Women's Cross Country
• Men's and Women's Tennis
• Men's and Women's Track & Field
• Women's Soccer
• Women's Volleyball

Minimum Qualifications

Master's degree in kinesiology, physical education, exercise science, education with an emphasis in physical education, kinesiology, physiology of exercise, or adaptive physical education

OR

Bachelor's degree in any of the above

AND

Master's degree in any life science, dance, physiology, health education, recreation administration, or physical therapy

OR - The equivalent. Certain combinations of education, experience, and other accomplishments in the field may be considered equivalent to the stated minimum qualifications for these positions. Candidates who feel they possess such equivalent qualifications must request and submit an APPLICATION FOR EQUIVALENCE form. Supporting documents must be included with the completed form.

SALARY RANGE
$95,412.68 - $134,815.62 annually
Maximum Entry Level Salary: $95,412.68 annually
