Detailed Position Information
The University of Alabama School of Law seeks qualified applicants for the position of Clinical Assistant Professor of Law and Director of the Entrepreneurship Clinic. Candidates must have outstanding academic credentials, including a J.D. from an accredited law school or an equivalent degree (such as a Ph.D. in a related field). The successful candidate will either be a member of the Alabama Bar or will apply for and become a member of the Alabama Bar within a reasonable time of beginning the position. The successful applicant will oversee and/or conduct all phases of legal services for Entrepreneurship Clinic clients, teach and supervise law clinic students, and manage other law clinic staff. This is a year-round (12-month) position with eligibility for security of position. Salary, benefits, and research support will be nationally competitive. Preferred Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have experience in clinical legal education and also write and publish legal scholarship. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in Entrepreneurship advising and representation.
