- Remuneration: $161,241 to $168,919 pa (HEW9) (inclusive of $136,251 to $142,738 salary pa, 17% superannuation and 17.5% recreation leave loading)

Who are we looking for?
We are seeking a Leasing and Contracts Manager to join Campus Services, Administrative Division.
The Leasing and Contracts Manager plays a pivotal role overseeing and managing all revenue and expenditure, retail and commercial lease agreements, licences, permits and property management arrangements across the University’s on and off-campus portfolio. The role requires a comprehensive understanding of property management and leasing principles and the ability to navigate complex leasing environments to support the University's commercial and operational goals whilst ensuring legal and regulatory compliance.

The Property area’s primary function is to provide a range of property leasing and management services comprising on-campus retail and commercial tenants supporting teaching, learning, research and the student and staff experience.
This encompasses retail and commercial property leasing, strategy, retailer management, marketing, operations and liaison plus the leasing, management and administration of a variety of off-campus leasehold and freehold assets..
What you need to succeed
- Education, training and/or experience equivalent to postgraduate qualifications in property economics/valuation, business or law (with emphasis on Property) with extensive relevant experience in a property area or similar.
- Demonstrated knowledge and practical understanding of QLD Legislation and Retail Shop Leases Act.
- Demonstrated success in applying lease and property contracts management and administration to achieve high-value, impactful outcomes.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills, with a proven ability to produce clear, accurate, and timely advice, business cases, recommendations and reporting.
- Proven ability to effectively manage workload and deliver outcomes that meet or exceed client and stakeholder expectations.
- Proven experience in fostering productive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, contributing to a positive team culture focused on continuous development, collaboration, and achievement of organisational goals.
