Major Duties

Under general supervision, the Lecture Capture Coordinator provides consultation, training, and technical support on instructional and multimedia technologies... Performs other duties as assigned.

• Provides user consultation, training and assistance on a variety of instructional, multi-media, and emerging technologies...
• Consults and interfaces with faculty regarding their projects...
• Helps faculty with instructional technologies...
• Trains users in effective use of technology...
• Serves as the primary point of faculty contact for all pre-recorded lectures...

Qualifications

• Equivalent to a bachelor's degree in instructional design, educational technology, media experience or related fields.
• Relevant education and/or experience which demonstrates acquired...

Preferred Qualifications

• Two years of experience working in a higher education setting...
• Experience with learning management systems...
• Experience creating graphics and multimedia content...

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

• Proficiency in Canvas, Zoom and other synchronous conferencing technology.
• Proficiency in creating user documentation...
• Ability to work independently...
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong technical support skills...

Pay, Benefits, & Work Schedule

• The university offers an excellent benefits package...
• Classification: 0453 / Instruct Desgn/Technlogist I / Grade 1
• The anticipated HIRING RATE is $5787 per month. The salary range... $5787 - $8430 per month.
• HOURS: Full Time; 40 hours per week; Monday through Friday. May include evenings and weekends.
• This is a Regular position with a one-year probationary period.
• The position is currently hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days remote); however, this is subject to change...
