Job Description

The Department of Integrative Biology at the University of Colorado Denver (CU Denver) is seeking a Lecturer with an MS degree or higher in Biology or a related field to fill a temporary, non-tenure-track position. Appointments will be part-time (less than 50%) and will be made semester-by-semester, depending on the needs of the department and subject to budgetary approval.

Lecturers are responsible for designing, developing, and delivering educational content to enhance learning outcomes and/or academic research to advance knowledge and innovation.

What you will do:

• Serve as instructor of record for course/s assigned.
• Deliver curriculum, design and grade assessments and assign grades.
• Work with the department to ensure that the class meets pedagogical standards and are appropriate scaffolded in curriculum.

Minimum Qualifications:

• MS in Biology or related field

Preferred Qualifications:

• PhD in Biology or related field
• Experience teaching in a higher education environment in related field to teaching assignment.
