Lecturer
The Moritz College of Law invites applications for the position of Lecturer. This is a part-time semester Lecturer position for the Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 semester. Lecturer to teach essential law 1-4 credit hour courses and seminars for summer to spring semesters. Holds regular office hours, submits grading information, regularly communicates with students, and administers exams. May participate in curriculum development and course coordination.
Courses include but not limited to:
- Appellate Advocacy
- Artificial Intelligence & the Law
- Criminal Prosecution
- Criminal Defense
- Dispute Resolution
- Environmental Lawyering
- Financial Regulation
- Intellectual Property
- International Trade
- Mindfulness and Law
- Taxation (including State and Local Tax)
- Transactional Lawyering
Education and Experience Requirements:
Required: A JD is required. Candidates should have at least 6 years of relevant occupational experience and strong potential in all relevant areas of performance, including classroom teaching, feedback on student work, public service, and maintaining knowledge in the field.
