Description: The Honors College at the University of Houston is hiring a part-time Lecturer to teach in its Human Situation sequence for the Spring 2026 semester. Additional information about the Human Situation course can be found at https://www.uh.edu/honors/human-situation/. Applications are sought from teaching faculty in arts, humanities, and qualitative social sciences, especially those who have taught core texts and major works using a great books approach. Responsibilities will include holding two office hours weekly to support student learning and address course-related questions, utilizing the university's learning management system (Canvas) to post course materials, assignments, and grades in a timely manner. Applicants should submit a cover letter and a curriculum vitae. The application review begins immediately and will continue until a decision on the position has been made.
