Lecturer in Children's Nursing
An exciting vacancy has arisen for a highly motivated Child Field Lecturer to contribute to the organisation, delivery, and leadership of the successful and well-established Nursing Programmes.
You will need to be a Registered Children’s Nurse on the NMC register, educated at least to degree level. You will be resourceful, highly motivated, creative and ambitious, with a key interest in learning and teaching and be able to share your skills and expertise with the nursing and healthcare workforce of the future.
Experience and a teaching qualification, such as a Postgraduate Certificate in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education or Fellowship of Advance HE (FHEA) is desirable. The Faculty will support new members of staff to gain appropriate qualifications and is keen to support ongoing academic and professional development. You will have a high level of clinical competence and credibility in a relevant area of expertise.
We also offer a robust mentorship programme for new academic staff.
The Faculty has three education centres: Warrington Campus; Marris House Birkenhead, and Wheeler Campus, Chester, with an expectation of some travel between sites, but the successful applicant would predominantly be based at the Wheeler campus, Chester.
The Division would also welcome applications from those who wish to take this appointment up as a job share or secondment. We particularly welcome applications from University of Chester alumni.
