Lecturer in Communication---Metro

Job Summary:

The Communication program seeks a lecturer to teach a range of courses. While the candidate should be available to teach on both of our New Jersey campuses, we envision this person teaching primarily on our Metropolitan campus in Teaneck, NJ. We especially welcome applications from candidates with expertise in Artificial Intelligence and/or social media. We are seeking an enthusiastic candidate who in addition to teaching 4 courses per semester will actively contribute to events, student activities and growing our community and help connect our students with opportunities in the communication industry.

Required Qualifications:

Master’s degree or PhD in communication or a closely related field.

The ideal candidate will have teaching experience as well as experience working in the communication industry. Demonstrated ability to mentor students. Employment is contingent upon a satisfactory background check. Candidates for hire will be required to sign a waiver authorizing the background check and produce a Social Security Card.
