Scope of Job
The Department of Communication at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) has the need to hire a 3 Year Lecturer to teach in its Bachelor's program. The department is seeking a lecturer for the 2026-2027 academic year who is able to deliver quality instruction in the program. Courses may include but are not limited to Fundamentals of Human Communication, Public Speaking, Interpersonal Communication, Small Group Communication, and other Communication courses for which you may have experience in teaching.

Minimum Qualifications
Applicants must have an earned Master of Arts in Communication or related field on or before August 31st, 2026 from an accredited institution with at least 18 graduate hours in Communication.
Preferred Qualification
Classroom teaching experience. Fluency in Spanish and English is preferred.

Commensurate with Qualifications and Experience
