The Lecturer, Occupational Therapy contributes to the development, coordination, and delivery of high-quality learning experiences within JCU’s undergraduate Occupational Therapy programs. You’ll bring professional expertise, enthusiasm for teaching and research, and a passion for improving health outcomes for diverse communities across northern Australia.

What you’ll do:

• Coordinate and deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, workshops, and practice-based learning experiences.
• Contribute to curriculum development, subject coordination, and program evaluation.
• Undertake research aligned with the College and University’s strategic priorities, with opportunities for collaboration and publication.
• Build strong professional relationships with clinicians, industry partners, and community organisations.
• Support JCU’s commitment to reconciliation, equity, and sustainability.

About you:

You are a registered Occupational Therapist (or eligible for registration with AHPRA) and hold a degree in Occupational Therapy. You bring demonstrated experience in teaching, curriculum design, and a commitment to innovative learning and teaching approaches. You’ll also have a growing research profile and a passion for working collaboratively across disciplines.

Experience in acute, rehabilitation, or rural and remote practice settings will be highly regarded.
