Lecturer
The Department of Food, Agricultural and Biological Engineering (FABE) is seeking an instructor to teach CSM 4641 during both the Autumn 2025 and Spring 2026 semesters. The instructor will have full responsibility for instructional delivery, including classroom/lab contact hours, office hours, grading, team meetings, and course preparation.
- Deliver instructional content for CSM 4641 Construction Project Management across both semesters.
- Develop and implement e-learning content during May 2026, with a focus on technologies that enhance student engagement and support future delivery to ATI/regional campuses.
- Oversee Graduate Teaching Assistants (GTAs) or Undergraduate Teaching Assistants (UTAs) as needed.
- Participate in University and Departmental peer evaluation of teaching.
- Conduct assessments of student progress toward learning outcomes, as required by FABE and accreditation bodies (ABET/ACCE).
- Submit assessment materials to the FABE Academic Affairs Committee within two weeks of final exams.
- Complete at least one Peer Review of Teaching activity during the academic year, in collaboration with a peer instructor.
Qualifications: Required: Masters degree in Construction Management or a closely related field. Preferred: Experience in construction industry, instructional delivery, and use of electronic educational technologies.
