The Department of Psychological Science seeks applicants for a non-tenure track faculty position beginning August 1, 2026. The selected candidate will be primarily responsible for teaching courses, as well as participating in service activities at the department, college, or university levels. This is an in-person, on-campus position (not remote).

The Department of Psychological Science is housed in the College of Humanities and Social Sciences. The department offers a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Sciences degree in Psychology. The department has 10 faculty and over 600 students. The department also offers an online Bachelor of Sciences degree program and a minor in Psychology. RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities include teaching 15 credits per semester (5 classes) and participating in service as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Master’s degree in psychology from a regionally accredited university
• Demonstrated commitment to effective teaching and learning

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience teaching credit-bearing courses at the college/university level (face-to-face or online)
• Experience teaching Abnormal Psychology, Personality Psychology, or Clinical Psychology at the college/university level
• Professional experience in clinical or counseling work settings
• A record of effective teaching appropriate to the applicant's career stage
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative setting
