Essential Job Duties: The Department of Communication at North Carolina State University (NC State) invites applications for part-time Lecturer positions. Multiple hires may be made from this posting, with most positions being part-time and requiring in-person instruction. The position(s) are one-semester or one-year, non-tenure-track appointments with the possibility of renewal.

Primary responsibilities include teaching undergraduate courses in communication as well as coordinating, planning, preparing, delivering, and evaluating classroom instruction and related activities. Other duties may be negotiated with the department head.

Other Work/Responsibilities: Perform other duties as assigned by the department head.

Minimum Experience/Education: Requires master's degree, an equivalent degree, or equivalent professional experience.

Required Qualifications: Commitment to teaching excellence and excellent communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications: Teaching experience in communication at the college level and demonstrated teaching excellence.
