Lecturer/Senior Lecturer/Associate Professor, Faculty of Medicine and Health

The University of Sydney welcomes applications for Education Focused Academics in various disciplines within the Faculty of Medicine and Health. These are full-time and part-time continuing positions with base salaries ranging from AU$127,436 to AU$207,069 p.a. plus 17% superannuation.

About the opportunity: Join the Horizon Educators cohort with opportunities for professional development and grants up to AUD$30K for education-related activities. Successful candidates will contribute primarily to teaching (70%), research (20%), and governance (10%).

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading educational innovation and curriculum design.
• Delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences.
• Developing teaching materials and maintaining safety standards.
• Contributing to research in teaching and learning.
• Engaging in school governance and leadership.

• Susan Wakil School of Nursing and Midwifery: Associate Professor in Nursing.
• Sydney School of Health Sciences: Senior Lecturer in Physiotherapy.
• School of Medical Sciences: Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Medical Sciences.

Selection Criteria: Candidates must have a PhD in a relevant field, experience in teaching and assessment, a track record of research, and interpersonal skills. Senior roles require additional leadership and funding experience.
