Lecturer/Senior Lecturer, Department of Communication and Applied Behavioural Science
The Royal Military Academy Sandhurst is seeking candidates for the Department of Communication and Applied Behavioural Science. This role involves teaching and mentoring Officer Cadets in leadership, psychology, and social sciences to develop critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in an applied military context.
- Design and deliver courses, including field training exercises in the UK and Europe.
- Contribute to the development of future Army officers.
Person Specification:
- Deliver teaching in applied settings with enthusiasm for military contexts.
- Research relevant subjects and disseminate outcomes.
- Self-motivated for administration and excellent communication skills.
- Dedication to professional development.
Qualifications:
A postgraduate qualification (or near completion) in Leadership and Management, Behavioural Science, Psychology, Sociology, Conflict Resolution, or Defence/Military Studies. A Masters with equivalent experience is acceptable. Teaching qualification or experience required.
