NYTech's College of Osteopathic Medicine seeks a Library Associate located at the Jonesboro, Arkansas campus.

Responsibilities

  • Provide reference services to students and faculty to support teaching, learning, and research.
  • Provide instruction on library resources, databases, and literature searching.
  • Process newly acquired library materials.
  • Maintain accuracy of records in the online catalog and shelf read.
  • Assist at circulation desk, ensuring proper checkout and return of library materials.
  • Maintain photocopiers/printers
  • Open the library, set up the circulation desk systems, and prepare for daily operations.
  • Answer telephones, relay messages, and handle routine inquiries.
  • Process all interlibrary loans, maintain DOCLINE holdings, and record ILL activities.
  • Perform related duties as needed to support library operations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree, with 1-3 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with library technology is preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Lifelong learner.
