General Summary
This position administers and supervises operations of the campus Library Resource Center. Duties included but are not limited to managing all aspects of staffing and personnel, managing electronic and physical resources of the campus collection, recommend acquisition of material, subscriptions, and managing budget allocations and promote the use of the Library Resource Center and its resources and services. Perform duties and responsibilities in accordance with college policies and procedures.

Select, acquire, catalog, and manage campus library materials, including adding new items, maintaining the existing collection, conducting inventory, and weeding as needed. Perform all tasks in accordance with established college procedures and professional library standards.

Prepare and manage the campus library annual budget, including submitting requests and allocating resources to best serve the campus community. Provide input into the collegewide library budget for electronic resources and databases to support equitable access and alignment with college priorities.

Work with college faculty and staff to identify, plan for, and acquire library resources that support curriculum needs across the college.

Provide reference services and bibliographic instruction, including library orientation sessions, in-person instruction on electronic databases and virtual research, and online instruction. Assist students, faculty, and staff with the usage of library computers and access to electronic resources.

Manage intercampus and interlibrary loan requests, including processing incoming and outgoing materials in accordance with library procedures.

Manage personnel scheduling for the Library Resource Center, ensuring coverage levels meet campus needs. Fill in as necessary to maintain consistent service and support within the LRC.
