Responsibilities
Position is responsible for teaching agriculture courses. The instructor will engage in a variety of learning support and institutional practices, advising, and mentoring of students in ag related majors. The instructional focus is animal science and livestock production. Responsible for livestock judging. This includes to coach and travel with the livestock judging team and represent SCCC at local, regional, state, and national collegiate livestock judging contests, and student recruitment. Responsibilities also include development and establishment of plant growth activities practicum/ internship programs.
Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Agriculture or subfield or a Master’s with 18 graduate hours in discipline or subfield, required. Previous teaching instruction in community college or secondary education preferred.

Position Status: Full-Time, 12-month position, 248 days
