Position Summary: Under the supervision of the Superintendent of Plant, incumbent performs a variety of skilled, semi-skilled, and unskilled tasks in the maintenance, alteration and repair of utilities, buildings, and related facilities and equipment, including but not limited to: basic HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and structural work. The specific duties of the position vary depending on work assignments.

Required Qualifications: Understanding of regulatory controls and requirements of NEC, NFPA, AQMD, OSHA, and JCAHO standards; Position is subject to the California DMV's 'Pull Notice System' and continued employment is contingent upon proof of a satisfactory driving record; Must work overtime or alternate shifts as required to meet hospital needs; Current State of California Driver's License; Ability to interpret schematics, blueprints, shop drawings and manufacturers technical manuals.
