We are now looking for a Management Accountant to join us on a full-time, permanent basis.

The Role
As a Management Accountant, you will provide sound operational guidance and advice to our Estate Division, helping senior managers understand financial performance and make informed decisions.
Working closely with the Finance Manager, Head of Finance and senior stakeholders, you will deliver financial management advice and support. You will deal with financial planning, budgeting and forecasting activities, and detailed analysis and recommendations to support resource allocation and operational decision-making.
You will also play a key role in enhancing financial management across the Division, improving systems, processes and procedures, whilst contributing to wider University financial planning, modelling and decision-support activity through our Financial Planning & Analysis network.
About You
To be considered as a Management Accountant, you will need:
- To be a qualified accountant (ACMA, ACA, ACCA, CIPFA)
- Experience of managing and delivering a full range of finance services
- Experience of designing financial procedures
- An understanding of the aims and mechanics of 5-Year Planning, Financial Modelling, etc.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to analyse and interpret complex financial data
- Good interpersonal skills, both written and verbal communication skills, tact and diplomacy
- A good understanding of business processes and financial systems
- The ability to use initiative to work proactively and independently, often working to deadlines set by others
- Excellent PC skills, especially Excel
