Definition: The Department of Marketing and Public Relations is seeking a talented individual to fill the position of Management Analyst, Social & Multimedia.

Under the direction of the Director of Marketing and District Public Relations, the applicant will be responsible for developing, producing, and analyzing multimedia content and managing social media presence across digital platforms at the college level and as needed, at the district level. This position plays a key role in shaping the College’s online voice, engaging diverse student and community audiences, and using data-driven insights to inform outreach strategies. Collaborate with the Marketing & Content Strategist to amplify institutional messaging through video, social media, and multimedia storytelling.
Examples of duties include:
- Develop, create, and manage multimedia content, including photography, videography, social media graphics, reels, short-form videos, and other digital assets that support institutional goals.
- Manage and maintain the College’s social media presence across multiple platforms, ensuring timely, engaging, and brand-consistent content.
- Serve as the College’s primary event photographer by planning, capturing, editing, and organizing photographic coverage of campus events, student activities, academic programs, employee recognition events, and institutional milestones.
- Attend and provide multimedia coverage of campus events, programs, ceremonies, and special activities, including photography, videography, and real-time content creation for social media and institutional communications.
- Capture, edit, and organize high-quality photographs and video content for use in marketing campaigns, publications, websites, digital signage, and public relations materials.
- Collaborate with the Marketing & Content Strategist to amplify institutional messaging through video, social media, and multimedia storytelling.
- Develop and implement social media content calendars that support enrollment, retention, student engagement, and institutional priorities.
- Monitor social media trends, audience engagement, and platform analytics to optimize content performance and inform strategy.
- Utilize AI-powered tools and emerging technologies to support content creation, scheduling, analytics, and audience engagement efforts.
- Support digital marketing and recruitment campaigns through multimedia storytelling and targeted social content.
- Coordinate livestreams, event coverage, interviews, and multimedia projects for college programs and special events.
- Ensure all digital content complies with accessibility standards, district policies, copyright requirements, and branding guidelines.
- Generate reports and recommendations based on social media performance, audience engagement, and campaign outcomes.
- Work collaboratively with instructional departments, Student Services, Athletics, and administrative offices to identify and promote student success stories, programs, services, and events.
- Assist with media relations, promotional campaigns, and institutional communications initiatives as assigned.
- Stay current on emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in social media, digital marketing, multimedia production, and higher education communications.
